About The Event
One of the attractions of amateur astronomy is to look through a telescope and see the wonders of the night sky. Tonight we will be attempting to do that - if the weather cooperates. We will use the club telescopes, but we encourage everyone who wants to to bring their own telescopes along so that we can all learn some tips and tricks from each other.
We will meet on the Observatory Lawn by the Northumberland telescope, so do not go into the IoA building, but make your way up to the lawn. Do wear warm clothing, and please use red light torches to light your way if you have one (bicycle rear lights can be handy back ups for this).
If the weather is poor the event will be cancelled, so watch out for your email before coming and check the website.
